How Do I Clean A Brother Drum Cartridge?

When it comes to your printer, it doesn't really matter how high quality it is, the quality comes from within the machine and how well the brother toner is working. It's usually a pretty good idea to clean your brother toners, but a lot of owners simply don't know HOW to clean Brother Toner cartridges safely and effectively so here is a little guideline you can follow along with the next time you are having problems with your toner! Note that this should solve your problems, but if not, you might need a new brother toner.

First off you should position the printing sample in front of the drum unit and try to figure out exactly where the poor printing is coming from. Secondly, you need to turn the drum or the drum kit gear manually while taking a look at the surface of the Brother drum. Once you find the mark on the drum that matches the print sample you printed out, you will need to wipe the surface with something like a swab or cloth - make sure you don't use anything like a pen to get anything OUT of the drum.

Remember this is photosensitive, so if you rupture anything, your ruined! Also, make sure you don't use liquids unless it's FOR a brother toner! That's it. Now you should have been able to view where the marks were coming from and now you should have cleared the area so that the printing can resume clearly!
