You’ve got your Brother toners – now protect your Brother printer!

Now that you’ve stocked up on affordable Brother Toner cartridges, it’s time to turn your attention to the printer itself. Authentic Brother toners from www.BrotherToner.com will protect your printer from damaging third-party products, but you should still maintain and clean your printer to keep it working smoothly.

First, you need to regularly clean your printer inside and out. For the outside, use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol or water. Overly strong products will damage the computer. Invest in a printer cover to shield the outside from dust.

For the inside, remove the toner cartridge and use rubbing alcohol or Bestine to clean the inner gears and rollers. Employ a small vacuum to remove dust, not a compressed air blower as you would on a keyboard – this will only push dust into the machine.

Before putting the toner back in place, roll it gently in your hands to redistribute the ink. This will make your toner last longer and allow your machine to print evenly.

Last, make sure you use your printer every week or so to keep the ink from drying out.
