How Do I Know What Kind Of A Toner To Buy?

Unfortunately a toner IS ever-ending. At some point or another you will have to change your Brother toner cartridges - but sometimes this can be a little confusing as to how you are supposed to know which cartridge you should buy as a replacement! Most printers are going to only be able to use one type of cartridge or Brother drum. For example, if it’s a Brother Toner DR570, then chances are you won't be able to buy a TN-580 because it's simple not going to be compatible. So first and foremost it's important that you know what serial number or manufacture number your Brother toner cartridges are.

This can easily be done by either pulling the cartridge out of the machine, or by taking a look at your manual. If you have lost your manual, it’s okay! Just lift the cartridge in and out of your machine and look for a model, once you find this model number, you will want to take a look at our website and either do a search for the specific printer model or the Brother toner model - this is where you are then going to find your specific cartridge. Still unsure?

Well the model and serial numbers are usually 100% correct, however, if you want to be super-sure, you could also look online and type in the model number of your printer and find a photo of it to make sure it's the exact one you have! Check out some of our Brother Drum products and Brother Toner Cartridges available on our website now!

I am doing the same. I used to surf out for my toner with my printer's model number because it make your search easy and give you the best quality. I think that's the best way.
